Project S.A.M

Mobile Text Adventure Game

In Project S.A.M. the player plays as themselves being communicated with by an artificial intelligence program designed to work alongside secret agents in fieldwork. The AI, named S.A.M.(Sentient Automated Machine) has lost track of its partner and enlists the player's help in its search leading the player on an adventure uncovering secrets and learning to work as teammates along the way.

S.A.M. is still a new AI when the player meets it in the game and is open to being shaped by the world around it. During the game, the way the player chooses to interact with S.A.M. influences its personality and how it acts going forward in the game.

What I do on this project:

I wrote the story for the project. The team conceived of the game concept together but I wrote out all of S.A.M.'s lines as well as the player's responses in draw.io, a flowchart maker. 

 

I developed S.A.M.'s personality for the game itself as well as for our social media where we have a twitter account that S.A.M. tweets on in character.
